software used in automobile companies

Hello,
Its been a long time I posted here. Today I would like to give information about some software.
In companies like Hyundai, Maruthi, Mahindra, Ashok Leyland etc. uses the following software.

• For component preparation and modelling SolidWorks, CATIA, Pro/E
• For stress and fracture analysis and thermal analysis ANSYS, Abaqus, NASTRAN, Altair HyperWorks etc.
• For Computational Fluid Dynamic analysis and simulation ANSYS CFX, ANSYS FLUENT, STARCD, STAR CCM+  etc. (See my post on CFD software and learning resources for more info)
• There are some software which can be implemented for particular application using FEA/FEM techniques. Learning these techniques will help in getting job with wonderful package.
