Hello,
I have written an article on sharing previously. That is the
first step in representing the motto of this blog. Today I am taking a step
forward.
As I have told sharing is measured
with love and affection only but not on money terms. Sharing gives us peaceful mind and pleasure. If
it as an offering to the need, the pleasure doubles. According to a saying, the
perception of things depends on our attitude. If we percept things in a ‘vision
of gifting’, for example
Cooing is a process of attracting
the female bird. But if we percept it as a seasonal gift to humankind, then it
will give us pleasure.
An ant which found some food conveys it to other ants. We can
percept it as an offering to other ants. The same happens in case of crows
also.
Lion leaves the meat of the pray
after satisfying its need, this can be viewed as its gift to the other animals,
like wolves and foxes.
This is a new vision giving scope to service. Based on this
vision a new economy is developed called ‘Gifting Economy’. It is based on the same factors as of sharing,
the love and affection. So it is also called ‘spiritual economy’. This new
technique works successfully, until it’s able to invoke the morality in
mankind.
There are many establishments based
on this economy. The best example is Wikipedia
established in 2001. It is gifting knowledge to the needed. It is not established
for earning money. Actually with its reputation, if it allows Advertisements in
its pages, it can earn millions. But it stood as a pure sharing center of
knowledge for years. Anybody can give donation to this site. But recently the
owner Jimmy Wales asked specially to donate for the site. This incident shows
how much negligence we (netizens) are showing towards Wikipedia, even it is
very helpful to us.
This blog is also created on the
same motto of sharing knowledge and experience. Please help developing the blog
with your valuable ideas and to help the needy with your experience and
knowledge.
