Sharing – most of us (netizens) know it through social networking sites, like face book, Google+ and many more. We usually share quotes, photos, and files with our friends. But this ‘sharing’ is rooted from the ancient generations and cultures of Indian society.
We, in
many occasions, can observe this sharing –
In our agricultural families, we share the vegetables,
fruits and flowers whatever we harvest, with our relatives and neighbours. Ladies
share the varieties (dishes) with the neighbours.
If you go to a feast on the occasion of a marriage in a village,
you will see people serving, not for they are the members of the family,
instead, they serve there to just share the work and glories of the occasion.
In college hostel rooms, pupils share the eatables fetched
by their parents with the room-mates. They may share anything based on their
affection with each other. As they are being apart from their parents, they
share their happiness and sorrow with their soul friends.
We may share the vehicle of our colleague or neighbour to go
to office or vice versa. –
Like these there are vast examples in our culture and
society.
Like any
aspect in the world, there are people who are not involved in any form of
sharing and just see everything in money terms. Their minds are narrowed and
overflow with selfishness. We will address them in further posts.
The thing crucial in sharing is love, affection and caring of the
person sharing, and the need of the person with whom things are shared. Based
on them only, the value is evaluated but not on the money value.
So friends…
Keep
sharing. But Of course, be careful of
what you are sharing.
